Doctor's Prescriptions Via Web [January 15/97]
Advanced Health Corp., through its wholly owned subsidiary Advanced
Health Med-E- Systems Corp., and Physicians' Online Inc., have agreed to
jointly market, distribute, and operate a prescription writing service for
physicians over the Internet. Physicians' Online (POL) will offer Advanced
Health Med-E-Systems' Internet Script Writer service to all of its 135,000
physician members that use its online network.
Internet Script Writer is an electronic prescription writing service for
use by physicians in their offices. Developed by Advanced Health
Med-E-Systems, Internet Script Writer allows online prescription writing
with real-time drug utilization review, access to a patient's formulary (a
list of preferred medications), and prescription drug history.
